摘要：在这个所谓后信息时代，社会中的一切可谓发生了翻天覆地的变化，装饰艺术和平面设计的含义也随之发生了变化，这就无疑使平面设计的含义和诸多方面也得适应社会的变化。新技术、新思维、新材料等新东西层出不穷。平面设计作为现在艺术表达的主要手段，也应该把握住时代的主旋律，合理运用装饰艺术的多种不能手法，仔细研究什么样的材料，什么样的技术手段去实现物质功能与精神功能的统一。因此，装饰艺术在平面设计中的合理运用，对平面设计创作来说是非常重要的。而传统意义上只用电脑手段，或是手绘制作平面设计作品的极其微小分子之一。所以，需要在掌握平面设计基础的同时运用装饰艺术中的不同手法，予其平面设计增添色彩。
