Abstract: This article mainly introduces several metal alkoxides preparation methods, designs synthesis of single metal alkoxides and double metal alkoxides. To single metal alkoxides, we use Ammonia Synthesis reaction, thus under the condition of ammonia, make ethanol and strontium chloride reaction to produce ethanol strontium. In this process ,the primary role of ammonia is providing basic conditions. To double metal alkoxides, through the use of Williamson Synthesis, we first add sodium to glycerol, make it react with dibromethane to produce mixed ether; then under the condition of ammonia ,make the mixed ether reacts with chloride titanium and chloride strontium to add titanium and strontium to glycerol. To characterize the product structure, we did infrared detection to the purified metal alkoxides, then we noticed single metal alkoxides containing O-Sr and double metal alkoxides containing O-Ti and O-Sr. In order to facilitate the distillation and separate the production, benzene can be used as organic solvent. The synthesis of metal alkoxides that the text introduced have a broad application prospects in the field of ferroelectric material.Kyewords:Glycerin; Electric iron; Metal alkoxides
