Abstract
Small general engines are widely used in life and produce. Such as generators, lawn mowers, water pumps, cleaning machines, snow machines. And the most important components of the engine are crankshaft box, crankshaft, piston, connecting rod, cylinder and cylinder head cover. These have a crucial impact to the engine. These key components of the engine, whichever for energy efficiency or promote low-carbon economy, have a great significance of research on it.
This paper combine with a lot of literature, and under the guide of Professor Chen Ning, have a cognitionof this single cylinder air-cooled two-stroke CT950 generator’s working principle, basic structure, system composition and functions. Then to its key components (like crank box, crankshaft, piston, connecting rod mechanism, cylinder block and cylinder head), respectively discuss its design features and requirements, also calculate and check of the Structure selection and arrangement, material selection and the important dimensions ,and calculate a crankshaft’s balancing. Also check on the size chain, verify its correctness. From such a systematic exposition of the structure to make the engine and its principle of operation more straightforward.
