So,this paper designed a test system who can inspect the eddy current retarder'sperformance. A series of flywheels are designed which can randomly combine andsimulate the running state of the automobiles whose approximately quality range from 2000 to 32000(kg),its simulation range is very widely,almost including from carrion to motor coach. The testing system can evaluate the eddy current retarder's performance at different vehicles, so it expand application range and heighten testing ciency.
The connection of car speed, excitation current, and rotor temperature and brake torsion can be evaluated on this test-bed. Besides, it can give a all-ground evaluate to the eddy current retarder's performance.. The testing system supplies effective data assist to the eddy current retarder's improving.
