Abstract
As a kind of space motion simulator, six degrees of freedom platform(6DOF platform)has a bright application future.During the design period of automobile,6DOF platform can be used as endurance tester.It can simulate the motion condition of the chassis of a moving car.So it can finish the function and reliability tests indoors to lower the research time and cost.These years,the research for the 6DOF platform’s structure and real time control method interests many scholars all over the world.
It introduced the characteristic and the general situation of development and research of the six DOF platform at the beginning of the paper,then analyzed the kinematics of it,and gained the equations of the forward and inverse solution of the six DOF platform.It listed the motion characteristics of 6DOF,and designed the structure including statics,kinematics and dynamics based on parameters.The model of 6DOF platform were drawn by the 3D modeling software UG and assembled them as required.Then we would take virtual simulation and analysis based on Adams and turned out to be a few of graphes which were needed in the practical engineering.
The result of the software system running indicate that the virtual simulation can effectively show the prototype's running which is intuitionistic and real time.
