Abstract
The plastic injection mold manufacturing technical development rapid which has become an important part of modern manufacturing technical. The design of car ashtray cover plastic injecting mold reflects this technical plays an important role in the research and development of automobile manufacturing as well as the precision manufacturing of car.
This paper mainly introduces the process of plastic injection mold design of the car ashtray cover. Firstly, through the analysis of the cover of the ashtray completes the plan design of mold, including the choice of injecting machine; determination of the location of parting surface; determination of the quantity of cavity, the choice of sprue ect. Then detailed design the molded parts; plastic parts push facility; the side core pulling bodies; cast system and cooling system; the form of core and core-pulling as well as the choice of mold base ect. Among them, the side core pulling and core pulling the slider design are difficult for this design. As a result of the two side holes, it is impossible for ordinary kenel to knockout, so we should calculate side core pulling bodies, it is important to design the quide pillar and slider block. There baffles on the back of the ashtray cover which make the normal knockout very difficult, so it is necessary to adopt slider kenel.If so, not only the difficulty of knockout can be solved but also can push the molding part. The size of the Angle Pin and slider can be obtained through the under stress analysis and calculating, therefore, the difficulties of this design can be solved.
