This system proceeded from actual service of Environmental Protection Beurau, through detailed investigation and analysis, developed the practical computer information management system directly against the current situation of the books management manully. It has substituted the original management by hand, improved working efficiency greatly and lightenned the burden of the staff members.
The main functions of this system are: the management of readers, the management of books, and the management of information of borrow-returning.
In order to facilitate user's inquiry of inforuirymation, the system has offered two kinds of inquiring ways: condition inquiry and fuzzy inquiry.The system uses Visual Basic 6. 0 as the developement tool of front desk and Access2002 as the supporter's database of backstage.The system was developed through five steps: feasibility research, demand analysis, overall design, detailed design and the system test. Through constant revision and improvement, the system is satisfied to the users.
