Abstract
China is a populous nation. The agricultural population has 63.91% of the country, farmers' medical security problems also the key problems in our country's development. In March 2011 had fourth session of the 11th National People's Congress and the fourth session of CPPCC national committee, the height of medical reform is also the meeting hotspot. Guangdong province started promoting new rural cooperative medical system of experiment in 2003. Through recent years of practice, it has made the good results, in certain extent it has reduce the farmers' burden. But the new rural cooperative medical service has mangy defects in financing, compensation and rural health resource etc, and those defects need to slowly improvement. This paper is from Guangdong new rural cooperative medical system security’ situation, analyzes the problems of the new rural cooperative medical system in safeguard, then puts forward relevant countermeasures to improve the new rural cooperative medical security level, let the new rural cooperative medical system offer better safeguard for farmers' health benefits.
