试论拜上帝会在广西桂平兴起的原因
摘要
 拜上帝会是道光末年由洪秀全、冯云山在广西桂平手创、扎根并发展壮大的民间宗教会社，是以宗教名义出现的农民反清组织。它发动了震惊中外的太平天国农民起义。本文试着从地理环境、群众基础、地瘠民贫、土客纷争、其所宣扬的宗教教义和洪、冯的主观努力等多方面研究拜上帝会能够在广西桂平兴起的原因，并对当时民众思想以及社会所产生的双重性影响。

Discussion on Reasons of The Society of Worshiping God’s Rise
in Guiping of Guangxi
Abstract
   The Society of Worshiping God, founded by Hong Xiuquan and Feng Yunshan by the last year of daoguang, rooted and developed in Guiping of Guangxi Province, is a folk       religious club. It is also an anti-qing organization of farmers on the named of religion. It launched the Taiping Uprising and shocked the world. The paper comes into study of the Society of Worshiping God’s rise reasons from the geographical environment, mass base, marginal land and poor peasants, soil customer disputes, the religious doctrine they preached, and Hong, Feng’s own efforts and so on, so as to double affect the people thought as well the society.
