Abstract
Family migration history is an important part of the history of Chinese migration .Studying it not only can enrich the color of the migration history, but also makes us know the migration process and reasons more intuitively . This thesis will be use the migration history of lin family in Yulin as an individual case to study. We can get relevant information by using documentary analysis and interviewing Lin Qingsong and Lin Yonghua . Analyzing the migration process of lin family in Yulin in "Hainan - Indonesia - Yulin - United States" .Each stage in the history namely the late nineteenth century, the Indonesian anti-Chinese period, and the new century, there are specific historical background, causes, effects and pursuit .It shows some of the rules about Chinese migration from the microscopic point of view, and provides us a fresh case to understand the Chinese migration.
