A Comparative Study on Huang Ba and Gong Sui —the lofty officials in Western Han Dynasty
Abstract
In the former Han Dynasty, the great number of lofty officials emerged. Huang Ba and Gong Sui was the representative of the obedient officials in that time, they were law-abiding, reasoning and honest officials. Besides they showed solicitude for the people .During the regime, they worked hard to do the bureaucracy, and adopted the ideas of administering common people, which was that the rule of virtue is dominant and punishment is supplementary. They carefully implemented the Policy to rich and teach people .So that to promote the social and economic development, and achieved resurgence of the Western Han Dynasty ZTE cause. The later people regarded them as "lofty officials" representatives, and called them "Gong Huang". They were as for the lofty officials. However, there were also some obvious differences among them.
