水是生命之源，中国的水资源较丰富，却存在严重的空间分布不均衡性，那么，我们只有合理运用信息化手段，拓展自来水的利用空间，降低净化水源的成本，节约生命之水才是目前最有效的解决途径。因此，一套高效率、高实用性的自来水售水系统的建设，对合理利用、节约水资源，保证社会经济的稳定发展具有非常深远的影响。
自来水售水系统具有以下的几个主要功能：（1）用户管理子系统；（2）水表管理子系统；（3）营业收费子系统；（4）统计查询子系统；（5）客户服务子系统；（6）在线帮助子系统。对于此系统，我采用Microsoft Visual Studio 2005作为开发实现的平台，利用SQL Server 2005作为后台数据库的实现平台，这样可以很大程度上减少数据的冗余，可以对数据库数据的增、改等常用操作进行最大的优化。同时，本系统界面简洁素雅，整齐统一，操作也很方便，数据库表的设计相对合理，重点是规划了自来水售水的营业收费管理以及实现模块的查询统计，优化了系统的可操作性和功能性，符合现代的自来水售水管理对应标准模式，对于自来水公司的实际使用也是具有很大的可行性。
