摘要
Torque游戏引擎是GarageGames公司开发的网络3D游戏制作引擎。该游戏引擎采用的是客户端/服务器模式(Client/Server),用户通过开发,可以实现简单的3D游戏对弈。较目前市场上热门的大型网络游戏,如魔兽世界等相比,Torque游戏引擎暂不具备开发如魔兽世界这种“大型多人在线角色扮演游戏(Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game)”的能力。本论文通过研究对RPG模式的数据管理方式的研究和性能测试,为Torque游戏引擎RPG化开发做铺垫。

ABSTRACT
Torque Game Engine which developed for the Internet is a 3D game engine produced by GarageGames. The game engine is used in client / server mode. The user through the development can achieve a simple 3D game quickly. Compared with some other large famous online games such as the World of Warcraft at the current market, Torque Game Engine temporarily have no capability to develop massively multiplayer online role-playing games(MMORPG) which like the World of Warcraft. This thesis research on the RPG model data management research and testing it. Helping for pave the way of developing Torque Game Engine to RPG.
