ABSTRACT
This paper is core at the concept of lean production. It starts with lean production, and focus on the research of application on SMED(Single Minute Exchange of Dies). In the meantime, explore ways to promote Lean production in company. Through describing the paper, so that the reader can know the attacks on the financial crisis more. The cost of raw materials, human resources costs and growing competition in the market, these are necessary for China to implement the Lean Production and change China from huge manufacture company into strong company. At the same time understand the essence of the lean production, lean manufacturing implementation in the enterprise and its implementation steps of the main techniques of Lean Production.
At first, it introduces some basic situation of manufacture industry. Including the environment faced currently and the challenge of manufacture industry in finance crisis. Secondly, it introduces the theory basis and main technique of Lean Production. Which including the generating background, real magnificence of promoting Lean Production, the attention point when implementing and how to implement Lean Prodution in company. Meanwhile, it elaborates some common technique in using Lean Production. What’s more, this paper is main at the application of SMED in company. From learning this, make us know more about LP. At last, it provides some suggestions on how to implement Lean Prodution better.
