Monascus red pigment production optimization of fermentation conditions
Abstract:
This paper is producing strains of Monascus red pigment media and culture conditions for optimization of several common carbon sources, nitrogen sources, different media, temperature, pH, different amounts of red rice flour, red pigment production by Aspergillusand the impact of yellow pigment. The results showed that carbon source corn flour, rice flour are conducive to producing strains of Monascus red pigment and yellow pigment. To carbon source for the corn starch 4%, 4% rice flour produced the most pigment, with nitrogen as sodium nitrate, sodium nitrite 0.15% maximum pigment production.Content of rice flour 4% -5% in the medium between the maximum pigment production. To investigate the best medium-type medium, temperature 32 ℃, pH6.0 most of its production of pigment..Single-factor test in the study by extracting times concentration, dosage, extraction temperature, extraction time effects on the extraction of red pigment based on the orthogonal test of the extract concentration, extraction time, extraction times on theextraction of red pigment. The results show that the mycelium of Aspergillus from the red pigment extracted the optimum conditions were: 90% ethanol as extraction solvent, extraction temperature 40 ℃, extraction time 40 min, under these conditions can bacteria extracted 3 timesfilaments in the maximum extraction rate of red pigment.
