Abstract: Polycarbonate (PC) is an integrated high-performance thermoplastic engineering plastics in various application fields are widely used, but the technology of recovery degradation is not yet mature, So the topics selects supercritical fluid technology (SCF) to recycle the polycarbonate,and introduces the basal characteristics of supercritical fluids and its application on chemical recycling of waste plastics. The paper studies that change of the conditions of individual factors (example:temperature, pressure, reaction time and the ratio) to lead the effect of depolymerization of Polycarbonate in supercritical ethanol. with the actual situation of the experimental devices, Ultimately, identifies the optimum condition of supercritical ethanol catalytic and depolyme- rization polycarbonate: depolymerization temperature should be conrolled at 190℃, the reaction time in about 15 min, the ratio is about 7.
