Abstract: Salen complexes of iron(Ⅲ)、manganese(Ⅲ) and cobalt(Ⅱ) were synthesized and employed as catalysts in the oxidation of cyclohexane. The catalysts were characterized by Fourier Transform Infrared Spectrometer. The reactions were carried out in acetonitrile or acetone at 60℃,using hydrogen peroxide and tert-butylhydroperoxide as oxidation. Acetone as soluat, cyclohexane conversions up to 62.5% were obtained for the system [Co(Ⅱ)(salen)]/ H2O2 . A possible mechanism was proposed for the reaction by Oxidation of cyclohexane.
