Abstract
There are a lot of use of constant temperature incubators, which can provide a stable temperature environment for industrial, physical, biological and medical experiments and activities. The new developed integrated high-performance semiconductor temperature sensors and control algorithm also provide some improvement of the accuracy of temperature measurement and control..
Thesis discusses the design and realization of an incubator temperature control system. An AT89C51 Microcontroller first reads temperature that comes from the DS18B20. After comparing it with the set one, the microcontroller then send out control signals to the semiconductor cooling chip to change the temperature by heating or cooling the box. The current temperature and the set temperature are also displayed on a LCD. A temperature fluctuation less than 1 ℃ is achieved finally.
This design is low cost, simple and practical. It can be used in daily life.
