Abstract
Frequency is one of the most basic parameters of electronic technology, and it has a very close relation with the measurement of other electric parameters. So the measurement of frequency seems even more important. In order to realize a wide-range, high-accuracy cymometer, an effective method is to use an one-chip computer. The author uses an 51 Single-Chip computer as the core device. The cymoneter also consists of other functional modules, including signal importing, signal reshaping, LED display and so on. The hardware circuit of the cymometer is drawing with Proteus software, and the control software of one-chip computer is written in C language.
