ABSTRACT
With national power increasing and economic developing, the mobile communication system have been applied more and more extensively. The demands for communication quality and extent are increasing, not only for clear calls, but also for anytime wireless Internet functions. Moreover, it can wireless call not only the outside where is stronger signals, but also indoor environment such as council-chamber, exhibition center, stadium and temporary places.
As to the indoor mobile communication, we should consider the coverage, the capacity and the quality of mobile networks. It is necessary to construct indoor coverage system. This paper mainly investigates the technology of indoor coverage and optimization. Indoor distribution system is composed of the signal source and signal distribution system. According to different sources, indoor coverage distribution system can be divided into passive distribution system, active distribution system and fiber optic distribution system, etc. In the design process, we need to take effect on networks consideration by the repeater and the balance between the downlink and the uplink. In addition, the paper also introduced the planning process of indoor coverage and discuss the tendency of the 3G indoor coverage systems ,which is a multi-system coverage.
