ABSTRACT
Arithmetic coding is a promising method of lossless compression. Many domestic and foreign scholars have studied it. In the JPEG2000, a new still image compression coding standard, the image data after being transformed by the Wavelet transformation will be processed by the context-based adaptive arithmetic coding.
