ABSTRACT
With the development of global economic,the popularization rate of vehices have been increased a lot,which makes the traffic situation more heavy.Faceing the increasingly crowded traffic with limited resources and financial also with the pressure of environment.In addition to road infrastructure we need to relay on other mothods to meet the growing traffic demand.In order to solve the increasingly serious traffic problems,how to carry on effective management and control to the existing traffic becomes an urgent problem which should be solved in transportation of our country.The control system of urban traffic signal is one of the mandatory methods to solve the problem.The system is used to control and manage the urban road traffic,to realize the intellectual control of traffic signal,to make the vehicles sail out of the conflict area.Therefore,how to use the existing traffic control measures to improve the traffic has become the focus of the related disciplines.
In view of the crowded traffic and traffic jam of the crossing,this paper presents the design methods of the general small real –time transportation supervisory system from two aspects of hardware design and software design,based on computer control,LED display and vehicle examination technology.
This system takes AT89S52 as the controller to realize the traffic lamp control of the crossroad.According to the results of examination,the system can control the current traffic light time,make the LED monitor to carry on the countdown work and maintain the synchronization with the condition lamp.This system can enhance the transportation efficiency with the maximum limit and safely.
