Optical fiber communications has been widely used in today's world, optical fiber communication has become the backbone of modern communications. Optical fiber communication astonishing pace of development, it has wide bandwidth, large capacity, long distance relay, anti-interference, good privacy, low cost, quality transmission, etc. The face of the universal application of optical fiber communication technology, to understand the composition of optical fiber communication system, for me ,a communication engineering graduates need to understand and research.
This paper introduces the basic component digital fiber optic communication systems, and the principle of introducing chip and module. The main transmitter in the system design of LD modulation circuit and produce information sources m sequence generation circuit, the transmission module introduces the optical fiber as transmission media, introduced in the APD receiver demodulation circuit.
