ABSTRACT
With the development of the computer technology, games raise quickly, too. New games is brought out continuously, and more and more persons begin to play them. The education factor in the games is attended by the experts more and more. In this paper, for enriching the theory and practice of edutainment, for accelerating the further development of educational game software and supplying real operation reference, it is extremely pressing and important to analyze present educational game software carefully and concretely. Hence writer selects the comparatively more representative educational game software examples of home and abroad as the research target, adopts the content analytic approach to research their present situation through education and game two latitudes，and studies one of these cases.
Based on these ,this dissertation sums up the present situation of educational game software, and forecasts the development tendency on entirely，finally proposes the design idea of educational game software.
