ABSTRACT
As the prevalence of web-based course, web-based teaching becomes the most attractive part of the modern educational technique. Video media plays more and more important roles in the web-based teaching too.
By introducing the advantages and disadvantages of video in web-based course, this thesis expatiates the video media’s making and the multi-media technique’s choice. It also makes a preliminary exploration of the practical application in the video web-based course. In the basis of comparing two existing Japanese video, I make two teaching video. First is a video like the television through some process such as shooting, editing, compressed storage, format conversion and so on. Second is a video which through capturing screen process. This article described those two methods and results in detail.
Through video, the learners can be very intuitive to understanding and acquiring new knowledge. Then it can advance the learning occurred and improve learning efficiency. Educators in different space and time can watch the video through various forms of discussion and learning each other。It will promote the development of education idea as well as methods of teaching and learning.
