Objective: To evaluate the patients after femoral neck fracture and follow-up and rehabilitation after discharge guiding effect. To prevent complications, reduce physical disability and quality of life.
Methods: 72 patients with femoral neck fractures were randomly divided into experimental and control group. Experimental group, 36 cases, nurses develop care plans, and was within 6 months after discharge and follow-up appointments by referral to limb exercise guidance, psychological care, prevention of complications of health education and care guidance; control group, 36 patients discharged only to give health advice.
Results: The rehabilitation of limb function and status of the control group (hip function evaluation) compared to after 3 months and 6 months, excellent rate of hip joint function in experimental group were higher than control (p <0.05), the experimental group's health education effects and prevention of complications than the control group (p <0.01).
Conclusion: The postoperative follow-up of femoral neck fracture patients and rehabilitation guidance, answers and help deal with the problems, can be effective in promoting recovery of limb function, reduce complications, thereby enhancing the quality of life of patients.
