Thesis topic: Of nursing intervention on patients with lower limb fracture prevention of pressure ulcer
ABSTRACT
Objective:
To investigate the adoption of nursing intervention on lower extremity fracture patients and their families to master the impact of measures to prevent pressure sores.
Methods:
The 2007 6 month - June 2009 120 hospitalized patients with lower limb fractures were randomly divided into control group, intervention group, Patients in the control group, the traditional methods, primarily nursing staff to take preventive measures. In the intervention group patients on the basis of conventional methods, The use of the written form (pressure sore prevention instruction manual), verbal explanations, demonstrations and other methods of missionary health patients.
Results:
The master between the two groups by comparing pressure ulcer prevention measures, the incidence of pressure sores during hospitalization, the incidence of pressure sores at home, using X2 test (P <0.01) significant differences.
Conclusion:
The adoption of two nursing interventions can promote the patients and their families to improve the awareness of prevention of pressure sores, take the initiative to take measures to minimize the incidence of pressure sores during hospitalization, especially in the incidence of pressure sores at home.
