Abstract
Self-validating (SEVA) sensor has the ability of self-diagnostics and self-reconstruction, it provides not only the validated measurement value, but also the validated uncertainty and measurement value status, which represent the credibility of sensor’s output. By using self-validating sensor, we can get thework condition of the sensor and take proper action in real time.With the development of micro-electronics technology, Field Programmable Gate Array一FPGA is increasingly applied to single chipsolutions of system integration with grand capability on single chip andhigh speed parallel calculation ability.Aimed at the characteristics of the displacement,one Self-validating sensor model based on FPGA is discussed and framed in the thesis.
