Abstract
In the current society ,with the computer technology and microelectronic technology developing,PLC which is general-purposed ,convenient,high reliability,easy programming,as an indispensable one of the three pillars in industrial automation,has been widely used in iron and steel, petroleum, chemical, power and other industries, particularly in the industrial automation sequence control which plays a decisive role,.Today in all universities and colleges in the level of automation, PLC has became a compulsory subject.As a result of various physical limitations of teaching devices,the design uses MCGS PLC configuration software to develop a virtual experimental system so that it makes the practice of the teaching has its new means and new practice mode. And The design of manipulator model control system based on PLC and MCGS’s application in the manipulator model control system were researched.The interface of supervision for the manipulator model control system was designed by MCGS supplys an intuitive, clear and accurate manipulator operating state ,and then various possibilities for maintain and breakdown’s diagnosis were provided, the work’s efficiency of system was fully elevated.
