Abstract
The design is based on computer vision library OpenCV, using the rich library of image processing functions to realize the size of non-contact tube measurement function. Involving artificial intelligence, computer vision, computer science, image processing and many other fields, computer simulates the visual function, to extract information from images, processed and to be understood, ultimately used for the actual detection and control. OpenCV can be used to confirm the image of human face location, size and posture, can be solved when the lens camera calibration, radial distortion and tangential distortion, which is also capable of tracking, widely used in national security, aviation, medical and health and so on.
The system runs on the visual c++ platforms.The content includes collection of digital images, loading, binarization, edge detection, etc., to get the exact size of U-tube and the histogram. Compared with the traditional measurement, the system is more fast and better accuracy.
