Abstract
In order to reduce energy consumption and improve the yield and quality of the bar production, complete continuation and full automatization of the bar steel production line has developed to PLC control system, which was used to be relay logic control system, and at the same time, SIMOREG DC master 6RA70 has completely replaced the original analog control of DC power supply unit
Up-stop flying shears is the important device of the process line of the bar steel. The main function of flying shear is to act double-ruler cunning and to improve product quality and yield. Because the speed of the bar steel is very high when it passes through the up-stop flying sheers, the accurate demand on control of the up-stop flying sheers is very high. The paper discusses the system up-stop flying shears design rationale, the control of the up-stop flying steers mainly concentrate on precise positioning, startup delay calculation, shear velocity and speed correction and flying shear optimization.
The paper discusses SIMOREG DC master 6RA70 as shear control system, improves the control system. Siemens STEP7-300 of PLC controls the flying shear, and greatly enhances the flying shear work’s reliability and automation level
The background of the paper is western Zhejiang Province bar rolling mill production line from the up-stop flying shears control system,The practice of this bar steel line shows:electrical installation functions reliably, control reactively and conveniently and it achieves the design goals, solves the problems of restricting the development of production and achieves good economic returns.
