Research Of Single-Coil Multiple-Speed Induction Motor
ABSTRACT:The design principle of pole-changing windings without interruption of power supply for three-phase induction motor is studied in this paper. All the windings studied have six terminals. The method of controlling speed-changing switchover is very simple, and the reliability of speed-changing switchover is improved while the cost of switch of pole-changing windings is decreased.A new type of induction motor with quick-starting quality factor is studied in this paper. This type of motor is similar to the cage induction motor in structure, but its stator and rotor winding is designed particularly and a different connecting method is adopted ,which meets the demand of starting and operating properties. The basic designing principle of this type of motor winding is introduced and an example is given to illustrate the design method of the winding .A mew solution is proposed to solve the problem of starting properties of the induction motor.The graphite start-up resistor rod different from the traditional start-up device is developed based on testing of various start-up techniques in the salt-bath furnace.It is proved that the graphite start-up resistor rod can be long life, conveniently operated,low cost,and easily made and maintained. A new approachis presented for the development of the start-up technique in the salt-bath furnace.
