Development of Inverted Pendulum Control System
ABSTRACT: Inverted Pendulum is not only a kind of excellent teaching experimental instrument, but also an ideal experiment platform of control theory research. Because the inverted pendulum system itself has many characteristics as high order, unstable, many variables, nonlinear and close coupling, many modern control theory researchers consider it as the typical research object at all times, and constantly excavate new control strategies and control methods, the related research productions playing a widely application role in space science research and robotology.
This dissertation is based on the research of Goggle linear single stage inverted pendulum. We processed many experiments as PID, root-locus method, frequency response method, etc. by the inverted pendulum of this company. We improved the operation interface with C programming language (added fuzzy control). Therefore this project dissertation has important significance in both the theory and practical aspects.
