Design of Pusher-furnace Process Control System
Abstract
With rapid growth in economy and the enhancement of the industrial level, energy shortage becomes the current focus society pay attention to. The steel industry reducing energy consumption in China is not only need of energy-saving and emissions-reducing, but also the requirement of improving its efficiency and achieving sustainable development in the section of iron and steel industry. Furnace is major energy-consuming equipment in rolling production process. How to guarantee the heating of slabs can be effectively rolled and reach an aim to save-energy, which is the direction that we pursuit in the field of metallurgical automation. Chinese economy is growing fast and a lot of steel material is needed, therefore, design of a reasonable burning-control-system of furnace is significant in economy, energy saving and environment-protection. This article takes the full burning and high heating efficient as aim, implement air-fuel-ratio control online to ensure the best burning, energy saving and environment-protection. In the design-heating furnace craft knowledge is mainly considered, applying automated control principle the constructs a set of reasonable combustion control system of heating furnace, and using PID parameter tuning achieves the best burning. Finally, applying Simulink toolbox of the Matlab simulating software makes the simulation of burning-control-system of heating-furnace and verifies the system availability
