With the intelligent community promotion, security systems have become essential equipment of intelligent community. In today's rapidly developing society, people increasingly concerned about the environment where they live, home security has become a comfortable family priority consideration. Using VB language as development tools, this topic uses the VB serial communication controller (Microsoft Communications Control, MSComm), wireless transmission module (SRWF-501) and radiofrequency (RF) technology to achieve the point-to-multipoint data transmission firstly, and then to achieve information security transmission among residential, property management center, and users through the point-to-point data wireless transmission. So, alarm information achieves accurately, timely delivery. Through the design, the system realizes the power eventually that can transmits the alarm voice information to property management center through the telephone network and warning short message service (SMS) to households at the same time through wireless transmission modules. After the system is completed application to real life, the residential neighborhoods will truly achieve intelligent management, and the residential neighborhood security coefficient will greatly be enhanced. It will be safe and harmonious for the people lived here, and people will really enjoy convenience brought by information technology.
