Title Simulation of AC Motor Speed Control By Termina Voltage Based on Matlab
Abstract
Electromagnetic torque is determined by the stator’s input torque in AC motor speed control system by terminal voltage. The speed of rotor is controlled under certain output torque. It can achieve the purpose of quick speed control with the introduction of rotator speed, stator voltage and torque feedback, the speed scope is widened and the accuracy is improved as well. AC motor speed control by terminal voltage with feedback is quite useful for pump machines. It is good scheme to save the energy when applied on pump machines. The power loss is very low. On the base of analyzing the principle of AC motor speed control by terminal voltage in details, the simulation model of MATLAB/Simulink was set up. The simulation results prove that using the SimPowerSystem of MATLAB to simulate the speed control procedure is simple and easy to operate. It can help us understand and design the AC motor speed control by terminal voltage system.
