Abstract
Vacuum Circuit Breaker (VCB) is the primary product of middle voltage electric switch equipment. Its reliability and intelligent levels have far-reaching influence on the stability the extent of antomatization for electric power system. Permanent Magnetic Actuator(PMA) as a kind of new actuator of VCB, has the advantages of less part number, higher reliability and maintenance-free, and overshadows the traditional actuators for Circuit Breaker (CB),so it has been paid more and more attention by people
all over the world.
AT89C51 is a 8-bit single chip computer. Its easily using and multi-function suffer large users. This design introduces one control system of PMA for VCB by single-chip computer. This system, regarding the request of the topic, adopting AT89C51 for controlling core, appling the sampling and analyse of signal, control the switching and splitting of VCB. The design includes the detailed introduction of the following main components: power supply, signal sampling circuit, scanning circuit of display and keyboard, control circuit and software. The circuit diagrams are attached for clear explanation. The electric circuit construction of whole system is simple and the function is dependable. This article emphasizes introduced the hardware and software system designs.
