Frequency measurement new principle research
Abstract: The thesis presents a frequency measurement method with high precision on the basis of the study on the former frequency measurement according to the requirement of the development of the present science technology, which is different from the former methods. It is easy in practice and accurate in measurement. The method of frequency measurement uses the relative relationship of the periods of the frequency signal that they are multiple each other. The direct measurement of the frequency is transformed into the measurement of the phase relation that can reflect the frequency information, the rapid change is transformed into the slow change between the phases, and the average frequency diference between the frequency sources can be shown by the change of the phase diference between the two frequency sources. It has proved by a lot of experiments that the lower frequency signal can realize the frequency measurement of the higher frequency that is 105 higher than the lower one. This measurement frequency using direct comparison of the phase relation is a new important method to probe into the accurate measurement of the ultrahigh frequency like the optical frequency.
