This article first introduces the research background and significance of VMI, as well as the research status of VMI at home and abroad, and then briefly introduces the inventory management theory and supplier inventory management theory.At the same time, taking Media Group as an example, this article analyzes the changes of its inventory data after implementing VMI mode, and evaluates and summarizes its achievements.
