Under the background of the further improvement of the market economy system and the strengthening of the development trend of economic globalization, the market also has greater requirements for enterprises. Inventory management is an important problem that enterprises can not avoid, which is because some enterprises have failed to play a leading role in the supply chain because of the innate defects of their overall strength, which requires keeping the corresponding scale of inventory to maintain the orderly development of production. However, the previous extensive inventory management is easy to lead to inventory occupying a large amount of capital and inhibit the close relationship between the various work links of enterprises. According to the present situation of enterprise development, this paper studies the situation of enterprise inventory management, and makes the research results. For reference to establish the inventory optimization strategy of enterprises, it is a very core work of enterprises.
Based on the overview and induction of inventory management theory, this paper takes Kunming Walmart supermarket as an example to analyze the present situation of inventory management, the causes of the problems, and puts forward the implementation strategy of inventory management optimization in Kunming Walmart supermarket.
