The design and calculation for 1100 kilowatts of reduction gear
Abstract
Wheel gear’s spreading to move is the most wide kind of the application spreads to move a form in the modern machine. It has a series of advantages like: ①spreads to move to settle, work than in a moment steady, spread to move accurate credibility, can deliver space arbitrarily sport and the motive of the two stalks: Power and speed scope; ②applies are wide;③spreads to move an efficiency high,η=0.92-0.98;④work is dependable, service life long and so on. Form wheel gear, stalk, bearings and box body decelerates a machine, used for prime mover and work soon and deliver a function of turning, the application is extremely extensive in the modern machine.
In this paper the design of an expansion of two cylindrical gear reducer, the transmission form a two helical gear drive in the two gears. The transmission of high-speed gear-modulus m=16, transmission ratio of 4.67; in the low-speed gear-modulus m=20, transmission ratio of 3.71. Because it is a 1100kw heavy-duty reducer, after calculations, we can find that the size of the two big gears and the reduction gearbox is too large, we have to use welded structure to make them.
