Abstract
The concept of gear pump is very simple, the Basic form is two gears which have same size rotate with each other in the close engagement shell,the shell inside is similar to a shape of “8”. Two gears mounted inside ,diameter and the both sides of the gear work closely with the shell .Material gose into the middle of two gears through the intake,then filled the space,with the gear rotary moving along the shell,finally discharged when two gears mesh.
This paper elaborate the background and significance of my issue; analysis the principl of stainless steel gear pump, the main structure and functions required; research transmission , flow and parts design of this gear pump.
The emphasis of this issue is design. Determine the material as 1Cr18Ni9Ti because of situations the pump work at; According to the given parameters, carried out hydraulic calculations on the input pump power and torque; Designed and checked the gear to obtain the basic gear parameters; Designed and checked arbor,And selected the parts which contact to the arbor, including bearings, mechanical seals and couplings;Selected precision measurements, including the dimensional tolerances, surface roughness and geometrical tolerance; Drawed a assembly and parts drawings.
