The Parameters Choose and Design of Heavy-duty Vehicles Clutch
Abstract
The clutch is the assembly which connect with each other at first hand between engine and transmission. Its effect is a cutting and realization to the power deliver of transmission, connecting together engine and transmissions are going smoothly while the car is going to start, insure the steady start of vehicle; While shifting gear , separates the clutch and gearbox, reduce to shift gear the impact between gear in the gearbox; While being dynamic load by the maximum in the operate, can limit the breakdown torque, pullout torque that the transmission department bear, keep each parts of transmission from damage because of the overload; Reduce vibrate and noise within the transmission availably. By analysing and calculating the failure mode on heavy vehicle clutch,The paper has concludes that the main reason of failure mode on heavy vehicle clutch is the big slip work per auto friction area.We can adopt a series of measures to make slip work per auto friction area smaller than allowed value when vehicle strats,and then radically solve the problem of clutch burning,it contain consulting some datas konwn,choosing chutch's improving plan by compare,optimizing the parameters of cluth disc,accretion of the friction area of clutch.In order to simply manufacture,the driving means of platen using passing force slice.At the same time, the platen springs adopt diaphragm spring, so vehicles start more steadily ,the load of powe train decreases,all of these make for extending the useful life of vehicle and engine.
