Abstract
Pump is a kind of the fluid mechanical that can make the original motivation of the work done by transmission fluid into the pressure of the potential energy and kinetic energy. As the structure and operating characteristics of screw, there are the following many advantages: can transport the high solid content medium, uniform flow and pressure stability, more obvious when low-speed, proportional to the flow and the speed of the pump, and so they have a good regulatory variables. A pump can be used to transport multi-media of different viscosity. Pump can be installed any tilt. They are suitable for handling viscous materials and destruction of sensitive items such as centrifugal.They are small size, light weight, low noise simple structure, easy maintenance and so on.
Following is the basic working principle of single screw pump: Single screw pump is an eccentric rotation within the gear volume pumps. The main components of the pump are a single helical rotor head and a double-helical stator made by generally elastic material . The rotor is scheduled around the cavity axis for the stator when the planetary rotation. The confined space Between the rotor and the stator produce displacement along the rotor spiral. So media will be sent to press out from the intake side with the average rate continuously and more constantly in volume.
The graduation project covers the screw size numerical calculation, the choice of structural parts and the screw pump drawing . Among them, the screw size calculation is mainly based on the method of "single-screw design and experimental research report" . By analyzing the coefficient of hydraulic collection k1,k2 and the speed n and contrast test about the pump performance curve ,these paper mainly explained variation of the pump performance. In the inductive analysis based on the hydraulic model,I Fitted coefficients K1, K2 with Numerical analysis.Thus I derived the frmula of the screw pump diameter D , Lead T and the Eccentricity E.
