The theory of fuzzy control has developed about 40 years. It has made the enormous achievement in theory and application, and PID as a kind of traditional control methods, it is still the most extensive kind of control means that the industrial process is used while controlling at the present. So, fuzzy PID has played a very important role in the controlled field. And the main research of this article is that how fuzzy PID controller adjust the parameters. First of all, I introduce the PID controller, the traditional way of making parameters, fuzzy control basic principle, developing history, current situation and developing trend. Then I propose a more perfect method to adjust parameters, on the basis of the strong points of the above-mentioned two ways, named parameters self regulating fuzzy PID controller. In my paper, I set the fuzzy regular according to the experts’ experience with fuzzy theory, and realizing the adjustment parameters on line by using the fuzzy inference system. The emulation result indicates that the algorithm that this article puts forward is superior to traditional methods.
