Abstract
The clutch is the assembly, which directly connect the engine and the transmission. Its function is a cutting and realization in the power deliver of transmission, connecting the engine and the transmission are kept smoothly while the bus and coach is going to start, in order to insure the steady start of vehicle; While shifting gear, it separates the clutch and the gearbox, reduces the impact of shift gear between gears in the gearbox; While being dynamic load up to the maximum in the operate, it can limit the breakdown torque, pull out torque that the transmission depart bear, keep each parts of transmission from damage because of the overload; Reduce vibrate and noise within the transmission availably. Diaphragm clutch is used widely in modern vehicle.
The design uses a systematic design method to discuss the design of diaphragm spring clutch, and in accordance with the functions and structure of the clutch, divided into active part of the clutch, the driven part of the separation and manipulation of body parts.
