Nowadays, striving for environment protection and sustainable development is the aim of each state and industry which wishes to stand in the international market. As the environment protection has been taken more and more attentions, the problems between trade and environment are outstanding day by day, and the internalization of environment cost becomes a focus in theory and reality, and how the internalization of environment cost affects on the international competitiveness of industries to which every country pays a lot of attention.
The thesis discusses the effects of the internalization of environment cost on the international competitiveness of industries, researches the effects of the internalization of environment cost on the international competitiveness of Jiangxi’s mineral industries. It consists of five chapters. The chapter 1 introduces the research aim, research subject and research method, gives the meanings of the concerned concepts, and also makes a brief introduction of findings home and abroad. Chapter 2 analyses the effect factors and the effect mechanisms of internalization of environment cost on the international competitiveness of industries. Chapter 3 analyses the comparative advantages and the export actuality of Jiangxi’s mineral industries. Chapter 4 is the most important part of the thesis, which discusses the effects of the internalization of environment cost on international competitiveness of Jiangxi’s mineral industries in the long and short time. The last chapter gives some advices against the problem and the most important one is grasping the proper degree of internalization of environment cost.
