How China’s Service Industry Use Foreign Capital
Abstract: The service industry becomes more and more important in the structure of the world's industry, and has now been the pillar industry in developing countries since 1990s. It’s of realistic significance for the development of the service industry in China to utilize FDI. Meanwhile, the world's FDI is shifting to the service industry. China has joined WTO, and will gradually open the service industry to the foreign investors. Moreover, during the period of the latter transition of WTO, the opening speed and the depth will be much faster and deeper. Under this international and national background, it is vital to study the influence of FDI on the service industry in China. But now the service industry in China has many problems in the course of self-development and utilization of FDI. This paper raised some views and viewpoints of our own on these issues. We should make full use of WTO rules, promote the opening up of the service industry step by step and selectively, guide the direction of FDI correctly, optimize the industrial structure and improve the domestic laws and regulations system related services further, provide a good environment for the development of the service industry, speed up the work of trade personnel training in services.
