ABSTRACT
With the development of the world economic globalization, the regional economy has showed a prosperous scene. The economic integration has become the most popular topic nowadays, which is playing a more and more significant role in the world economy that can not be neglected. Since entering the 21st century, China and other East Asian countries based on the ASEAN have an a fierce increase in their economy and as the most potential area in the future, East Asia will play a decisive role in the economic development of the Asia even the whole world, it is urgent and necessary for us to research the East Asian economic integration. The paper first elaborates on the theory of economic integration, and analyses the existing situation of the regional economic collaboration in East Asia, the cause of which it points out later. Then the paper studies the motive and obstacle met in the process of East Asia economic integration. At last it proposes some solutions and proposals, thus accelerating the economic integration of East Asia.
