Commercial letter of credit has been widely used in the international business field, and document credit is one of the most popular methods of international transaction payment. In the operation of letter of credit, every party shall check the conditions and terms in the documents to make sure if they are fulfill the requirements of letter of credit. So during this procedure, the examination of the documents is the most important and perplexing step.
As a result, the focuses of controversy in the letters of credit are often focused on the review of letters of credit documents. The International Chamber of Commerce recently published UCP600, which clearly points out that the "Complying presentation” refers to the terms and letters of credit, the practice and the applicable provisions of the relevant International Standard Banking Practice for the same single-cross. Therefore, in this paper, I used the empirical analysis and comparative analysis method to describe “Complying presentation” which changed a lot in UCP600 Compared with UCP500. In my description I used some examples in order to have a further brief review. And then on this basis, I summed up the relevant provisions of UCP600 and a series of influence arising from changes. Wish the main parts to master the major parties and the use of UCP600 can facilitate the rational use of international trade rules and reduce settlement risks.
